About Naveen Ralhan

Practical Procurement Advice You Can Count On

focus your time and efforts on running your business and let me help accelerate your growth

I’m Naveen Ralhan, the owner and founder of Shinsan. I am of Indian heritage, I was born and raised in Northern Ireland, and have lived in Norfolk for the past 16 years. I have two sons with my partner Louise, who is a New Zealander, and I have worked for British, American and Japanese companies. It’s fair to say I have a varied cultural background!

I am passionate that small and medium sized companies benefit from the same advantages that bigger businesses enjoy, helping them compete and thrive.

My procurement career has spanned a range of blue chip chilled and ambient food manufacturers, from commodity giants such as ADM, to challenger brands such as Kettle Chips, and mature brands such as Branston Pickle. Throughout that time I have been constantly learning, evaluating and experiencing. I’ve got a proven track record of significant cost reduction; extensive experience with new product development and launch; active involvement with coaching and mentoring people and teams; and a real passion for building lasting relationships that deliver ongoing benefits to my clients.

Aside from 20 years of experience saving businesses money, I have a degree in Accountancy, a Post Graduate Diploma in Purchasing and Supply, and I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
